The Nordic Watercolour Museum is situated on the island of Tjörn, 70 kilometres north of Gothenburg on the Swedish west coast. We are located on Södra Hamnen 6 in Skärhamn with the sea as our closest neighbor.

BUS
Nearest bus stop is called Kommunhuset, Tjörn. Follow signs to Södra Hamnen / Nordiska Akvarellmuseet. The walk takes about 10–15 minutes.

OPENING DAY BUS
The Nordic Watercolour Museum sometimes offer free bus transfer Gothenburg–Skärhamn round trip to the exhibition openings. Information about the bus is announced on the website and on social media.

From Gothenburg, follow the brown/white signs along the E6. From Stenungsund, you cross the bridges to Tjörn. After the bridges, turn left onto road 169. Follow the brown/white signs to Skärhamn and to Nordiska Akvarellmuseet/The Nordic Watercolour Museum.

PARKING
In front of the museum there is a parking lot with 25 spaces and four spaces reserved for you with limited mobility. Please note that parking is free of charge but limited to four hours. In close proximity to the museum (5–10 minutes walk) there are more parking spaces. Read more at Tjörn municipality's website.

The nearest airport is Landvetter Airport.
TRAIN
The nearest train station is in Stenungsund, about 25 km from Skärhamn. From there, local buses take you to us. Västtrafik's website
