info
The Belgian artist Hans Op de Beeck works in a wide variety of media and forms. The exhibition Vanishing Point presents a collection of more than twenty large black-and-white watercolour paintings, a new animated film and a collection of recent sculptures, including his monumental work Danse Macabre (2021), a baroque, life-size monochrome merry-go-round. With its well-known Dance of Death theme and tragicomic expression, it is a melancholic reminder of the transience of life.
We hereby invite everyone to the opening at The Nordic Watercolour Museum and to join us in the celebration of the summer's exhibitions.
